My goals for this course:
Learn in depth, at least one way to assess students using technology.
Learn how to design and implement a project based lesson
Learn and feel comfortable using programs other than Microsoft in the classroom
Find resources to continue to use to learn about technology after this course is over
Explore and use Web 2.0 tools that my students can also use
Find ways that students can use popular Web 2.0 tools, such as Snapchat, as an instructional tool

I'm most interested in learning how to apply the technology that we are learning about in 380 in the classroom. I'm interested to see how many of the skills that I learn in this class that I can find ways of using in the field. I'm excited to start working on the unit because I'm hoping that it will give authentic practice of planning a technology rich lesson.


It will be challenging for me to learn how to use all the different types of technology that we will be using in this class. I have always considered technology a weak spot of mine and even though I have found ways of using it in a classroom setting before it has been at a minimum. Learning to use the wiki has been a challenge to me so far but I am figuring it out and have even began using a wiki for another project in another class.
